“You are not what you eat, but what you digest.”
At the White Light Festival, you’ll enjoy a unique, organic, and Ayurvedic menu, specially curated by Cielke and Marleen from The Ayurveda Podcast & Alles over Ayurveda. Every dish is aligned with the winter season, giving your body exactly what it needs right now.
In winter, your digestive fire burns stronger than in summer, so warm dishes like hearty stews, kitchari, and a delicious oatmeal breakfast are the perfect choice. Every meal contains all six tastes, so you won’t feel the need for that 4 p.m. chocolate bar.
In Ayurveda, the goal is to nourish yourself rather than just fill up, so that after your meal you feel energized and alive!
Maybe you already know Cielke and Marleen from The Ayurveda Podcast or their three Alles over Ayurveda books?
Over the past four years, with plenty of humor and a practical approach, they’ve inspired thousands of people with Ayurveda. Out of their own search for balance in a busy life, they discovered the power of Ayurveda.
Their mission? To let you experience that healthy and tasty food go hand in hand — without complicated rules, but always with a pinch of Himalayan salt. Because hey, it’s got to stay fun!
With their down-to-earth, practical style, they show that Ayurvedic cooking can be simple, nourishing, and surprisingly delicious — even in a busy daily life.
“Healthy eating doesn’t have to be complicated – it’s about small, conscious choices every day.”
Mung beans — the secret ingredient in many Ayurvedic dishes — are packed with plant-based protein?
They’re not only super easy to digest, but also a fantastic alternative to meat. In fact, these beans contain more protein than a medium-rare steak. So you won’t miss out on taste or nutrition — and your energy stays much more stable throughout the day!
What you eat today determines how you feel tomorrow.
Our team of chefs cooks not only with fresh, organic ingredients but above all with great passion. Many of them have been working side by side in the kitchen for years and are experienced in preparing Ayurvedic meals. Together, they bring the flavors and energy of Ayurveda to life — so at the festival, you don’t just enjoy the food, but also the love and care with which it is prepared.
Bet you’ll be a fan afterward too?
A festival isn’t just a celebration for your senses — it’s also for your inner world.
Ayurveda views food as a way to bring your whole system — physically and emotionally — into balance.
During the festival, you may notice old waste (ama) being released, both physically and emotionally. The Ayurvedic menu fully supports you in these processes: it nourishes you down to every tissue. This way, you continue your journey feeling fed, energized, and in balance.
A good health begins with what you put in your mouth – treat yourself to food that gives you energy.
